Model

I don't always see the point of such tv-shows but they help my boredom. America's Next Top Model was just on. It is so entertaining untill I found out a few review sites and saw who won. All the fun was taken away from it as I know precisely what's going to happen. Looking at this show with a neutral vision, it is nice that girls are given the opportunity to show theirself to the world, to become someone important. But it doesn't have to be the only way. This one is the easiest, so it's a wonderful chance for them to prove what they have.

My favorite model of cycle three was probably Amanda (the girl who'd be blind at her 30's), she's very sweet and has something girlish, aside of her bright, gorgeous blue eyes. I could've understand though when they eliminated her in the last round. She doesn't radiate anything powerful or strong. Actually, I don't find any of the girls possessing great potentials to become a model. They are just model in making. Perhaps if this show was done over some years, there would've been a real competition as the best would compete against the best. The most annoying and irritating girl was Yaya, without doubt. Just the way she brags about her intelligence, of knowing a lot but one of the funniest contradiction is the umebushi case. It was offensive (not respectful as you say, Yaya), to spit out the product you were supposed to swallow. You're a model. If you want to become someone, you will always have to be submissive to people's rules, at the end it will bring you to where you want to go. For those who care about living and becoming someone. Eva is lovely too. Kind of a hypocrite sometimes. At the end she had to battle for the ANTM-title with Yaya. Amanda suprisingly had to leave the scene. Fortunately, Eva won. I'm glad. That just shows Yaya that arrogance doesn't bring you anywhere.

If I were to participate in such contests (though I can never predict how I will behave, I simply can't), I would have shown something different. If I had the potentials, I would've worked it all out at my best. Since I'm a quiet girl and don't like discussions (groups intimidate me), I'd probably try to stay aside untill I were asked something. I think that would've brought Yaya far. She was way better than Eva, she ruined it all for herself.
