(sometime late '97 or early '98)

Just more of wishing there was something I could do to help you and to let you see that it can be alright and maybe that's what I'm trying to do in this e-mail. But I think we have a lot of similiarities and I wish I had recorded everything I went through because I think if you saw that you could relate to it a little bit and then see how I've done for myself and that if I can do it then you can *definitely* do it. But then again, I would have thought that was extremely tacky when I was going through all of it. I still think it's tacky, but I also think there's something secretly helpful behind most tacky things.

You don't have to apologize for everything you've said or anything like that, because I know that if you had your way you would be utterly unimposing and never cause anyone a moment's worry. I always hated that about myself, but I could never seem to make myself stop bringing it on people. So I wound up apologizing a lot until the apologies were really just a formality and meant very little to the person. I think later on I realized that the ultimate heartfelt apology is to actually try to make changes. I'd rather see you get healthier and stronger and more self-confident than have you apologizing to me.

I don't know, this is just what came to mind after reading your e-mail. I may have more to say later. :) Take care and be good. Lots of love,

Brad.

And I have done nothing.

Back again.
