| it seems that everyday i'm walking around on campus, i see one girl who i think is attractive and *might* even know a little something about anything that i'm involved in. today, it was a girl with a sort of raspberry color dyed hair. everyday, though, i just walk past, not stopping to say anything at all. i suppose that's the easy way out, the way to avoid any sort of friction going on in my life. of course, if you're comfortable and used to talking to complete strangers you pass by, then it's probably difficult not to talk to someone. at this moment, i'm quite envious of people who are able to do that, be free enough that they're willing ot start possibly meaningful, random conversations with someone they have never met. it seems nearly impossible to meet anyone at all, at least for me, and i have no idea why. i sort of wish life was like the cinema right about now, where interesting people just sort of wander into your life and make attempts to get to know you, instead of the other way around. however, this isn't the cinema, and people don't want to get to know me. due to the fact that i also will probably never make an effort to meet anyone, i'll end up 'relationship alone' for all of my life. once i get used to this fact, it won't seem so tragic. |
