I feel very excited at the moment, not exploding hyper, but the sort of thing you feel all by yourself, when you have an idea or desire to do something which you know will be wonderful for yourself.
yesterday I went to ikea with a girl named stephanie (irony of irony...me at an ikea).  It was not as bad as I thought it would be.  Still, I have much contempt for the people that actually buy such useless crap there.  "I'm going to need that cute little table which goes in the corner and does absolutely nothing one day..."  That's what goes on inside the mind of the ikea shopper.  Walking around gawking at morons as well as  trying to get to the place was highlight of the week number one.  I didn't expect to have a second.
Today, though, on a whim of anger and loathing for online ordering services which cannot deliver, I cancelled the order I had for Fight Club and went out and bought it in rush hour traffic for some unknown reason.  Tim and I watched the dvd this evening.  It's one particular movie that I'm interested if people like or not.  One of the more brilliant pieces of work I've seen in a while.  Palahnuik's complete satire against modern society and it's conventions, then he does a ninety degree turn and shows that any alternative society is just going to be the same way, and thus it is the individual which is important.  Also, I enjoy knowing when "it" hits people.  If you've seen the film, you know.  Otherwise, I won't ruin it for you.  Anyway, I didn't turn on any lights in the room, and before long, night had taken grasp of this hemisphere.  But, the TV glowed in this one scene whence it opens up suddenly to a shot of the paper street soap company house.  It was interesting, and for some reason completely perfect to me.  That was highlight of the week number two.
I am a solid piece of craftsmanship right now.  After eight weeks of light exercise for about fifteen minutes a day, there is no source of softness on my body.  Granted, I was already thin, but now I am a "hard" thin, not "soft" thin.  I would not be a good meal for anything.  Muscle tends to get stringy when cooked, and is generally too rough to eat raw.  I am 130 pounds of something no one can use as a pillow.  My body now matches me: uncomfortable.
