"When they clean the streets I'll be the only shit left behind"

I was looking through and old grammar school yearbook, trying to find someone's name, if possible.  It's amusing and extremely ironic how all the assholes from junior high put one of their dislikes as "followers," considering how they were all hip MTV watching junkies replicating the actions, thoughts, and mindsets that some corporate trendsetter, brainwasher, hipster set for them through catchy marketing and focus groups.  No wonder the majority of people is always so biased towards everything that's not on TV or hasn't gotten a good review (or review at all) in the magazines:  all their opinions, wardrobes, and culture has been shaped by media.  It's like this anywhere in the world, in any class, any type of people.  Whether it arty supremacists who don't have an idea as to what they're creating half the time anyway (i've been there, i know) or ignorant trend followers who don't have an idea why they even bother to exist, they all follow the times, trends, and overall media blitz that capitalist, communist, socialist, and anarchist societies have gone out and created for them.  They slide into a state of living the same was a new pair of pants.  Jump in one, when it gets old and dirty, put on another.  I see this in about 98% of the people I know as well, including myself at times-it's difficult to shake the habit, even when you've woken up to it.  That word/yearbook rekindled alot of anger from my early days as a youth, as well as some memories I thought were repressed and forgotten forever.  oh well.
parts of that yearbook made me laugh, like the stupid inscriptions people would write to me (yes i had a few), my own portion of the yearbook where I got to put down likes and dislikes (i was quite an ignorant little one back then) and seeing people's pictures I would have rather not seen.  So, I plan on hiding that yearbook where I can never find it again.
I never did find that person's name which I was looking for.
