| Listening to Sting's 'Brand
New Day' at the moment. I used to listen to his greatest hits album
while helping my mother make Christmas coookies during that time of year.
This imparticular album I used to listen to with my father while eating
dinner the few times I came home during the course of the university semesters.
It was one of the few things we both enjoyed enough to listen to together,
I suppose. The lyrics aren't that great, the music is only decent
half the time, yet it's very enjoyable to me on other levels. It
feels like one of those weekends during semester, when I came home.
It's a good feeling, very comfortable and familiar.
I have no path right now, no guidance, I'm lost. Alone, reminiscient, and slightly ill, these are me right now. I tried to work on my webpage but somewhere I screwed up the Javascript I was orking on and just gave up. Read more of "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man." Listened to the Beta Bodega Coalition cd. It was bad. See? Everything has no organization, fitting, or relevance in my world. I watched gen-x movies and listened to early 90's grunge music yesterday. Tried to re-create the early 1990's circa Robert. I guess it worked, I can't recall very much what I was like, what I thought back then. Well, I do, but I'm not sure if I want to read that older diary or not. I am not the me of yesterday, nor the me of tomorrow. I am always the same, and yet never recognizable. |
