doing laundry is the most monotonous thing on earth, supposedly.  however, i spent my entire saturday night doing laundry while studying for a computer science exam.  after an hour and a half of doing laundry, i went back to my room and ironed everything i had.  shirts, socks, underwear, boxers, pants.  all starched, steamed, and perfectly folded + pressed.  odd thing is, i had a great time ironing...i think it broke the monotony of my normal days and provided brief new experiences, since i had never really ironed before.

lots of embarassing things happened today.  not to me, but to others, and i was reading relatively embarassing posts on the computer science newsgroup...people were insulting the professor, and i personally think the prof is
totally decent, but when you hear or read about someone insulting the class and the professor, i don't know...it just
seems odd, silly, embarassing....  i hate hearing about or seeing situations like that.  things that make me       embarassed make me feel like i want to slit my throat and just have it over with.  they make me embarassed too, and i just want to leave or stop reading or something, although that's rarely an option.  anything is better than being in
that situation, or seeing it, or hearing about it, etc.
listening to freeform:  pattern tub right now, and enjoying it very much.  it's not the greatest album, yet it fits my somber mood <did classically bad on computer science exam> and it's raining outside.  i can hear the patter of the
raindrops splash against my window.  it's a very soothing night after the chaos of the day.
