nonreturn
it's been one day over a month since i was last here, and now i have returned. this place seems unfriendly but hospitable at the same time. it's difficult to describe. i think home has the advantage over the apartment, because at home you can walk around up and down stairs, run a bit if you wanted, and lie on the couch. here, things are a bit more condensed. i was surprised at how large the room seemed to me when i walked back into it yesterday, and i suppose overall it does seem a bit larger than it did last semester. maybe when school starts it will revert to being small and chamberlike rather than a normal-sized room.
i'm anxious about classes again, as it is difficult to know how the semester will go until about halfway into said semester. with any luck, it won't be as frustrating as last semester. but, aren't things supposed to get more difficult as your education progresses? this is what i fear at the moment.
there are already people getting drunk during the night and sounding like fools in the evening streets. i shall never understand those people, for which senseless hedonism and indulgence without any purpose can take place. spontaneous fun and joy is great, but can you really call a drunken stupor such a thing?
listening to lackluster's "container" album, everything sounds like it will be ok, even though the music has a hint of sadness to it.
